We have agreed to foster an emaciated and very sick 5 week old greyhound puppy which came directly from his breeder to our home last night via two wonderful transport volunteers.
We have named him Dexter and he has settled in well with our hounds already, preferring however to snuggle up with our pugs, which are more his own size 🙂
Dexter weighs only 1.4kg and is half the size he should be at his age and he is very dehydrated.
We are hoping that some TLC and good food will get him on the road to recovery and a wonderful new life. He has a very strong character and is already loving his new lease of life.
We would like to thank The Beastly Beasts for helping to transport Dexter to us.
Dexter will be under the wing of Greyhound and Lurcher Welfare and Rescue who have offered to support his veterinary costs and rehoming. Many thanks GLWR.
